Farmer holding wheat in hands

Committed to organic farming for over 20 years

Dear organic farmer,

We wanted to take a moment to reconnect and remind you of who we are and, more importantly, what we stand for.

COPE has been proudly involved in organic farming since our establishment in 2003. From the outset, our passion has been rooted in supporting British organic agriculture, championing its integrity, resilience, and long-term future. We firmly believe in British organics, and our focus remains on building export opportunities rather than relying on imports, ensuring the value of your produce is recognised both at home and abroad.

At the heart of everything we do is our belief in “Sowing for Legacy.” This is more than a strapline, it reflects our commitment to building a sustainable future for organic farming, where decisions made today support the health of the land, the strength of farm businesses, and the opportunities available for the next generation.

Our business has evolved to support organic farmers across the entire season and supply chain and every part of that offering is underpinned by ongoing research and development. This ensures we are able to provide robust, practical technical advice you can rely on in real farming conditions.

It begins with Genetics. We carefully select and offer varieties suited to low-input, organic systems, proven performers that deliver reliability in challenging conditions. From historic varieties such as Amaretto spring wheat and Magister winter wheat, through to our current portfolio including Nelson winter wheat, Merlin spring oat, and Gent spring pea, our focus is always on resilience, performance, and suitability for organic farming.

Alongside this, we provide Plant Nutrition and Soil Amendment packages tailored specifically for organic systems. These are designed to help maximise yield potential while naturally supporting plant health and suppressing disease, working with nature, not against it.

We also supply a full range of seed, including cereals, blends, arable silage mixtures, grass, and small seeds. Our aim is to ensure you have access to the right products, at the right time, to support your rotation and farming goals.

Finally, we offer grain marketing solutions, connecting British organic produce with homes across the UK and into Europe. By developing strong, reliable markets, we help ensure your crops achieve the value they deserve.

We are deeply passionate about organic farming and the people behind it. Everything we do is built around supporting you, not just as a supplier, but as a long-term partner. From seed to sale, across the entire season, we are here to work alongside you.

We believe this is what makes COPE the natural first choice as your organic trading partner. If we can be of assistance please get in touch, we will be pleased to help.

Yours sincerely,

Gemma Clarke
