Organic Winter Oats

GERALD

Gerald Winter Oats continues to remain Britains No.1 oat variety. Its consistent yields,good field characteristics and top quality combine to wensure it remains a popular variety choice for growers and millers. As with other quality oats from IGER, Gerald gives low screening losses and has a high kernal content. It is well accepted by the oat millers.

KINROSS

Kinross Winter Oats are the equal highest yielding variety, both treated and untreated with good all round disease resistance. It has long, but stiff straw and therefore stands well. SW Kinross has gained popularity in the organic sector. SW Kinross has good grain quality and should appeal to millers.

MASCANI

Mascani

Mascani Winter Oats are the equal highest yielding when untreated, with yields comparable to SW Kinross. It is early to mature and has excellent disease resistance, particularly to crown rust. The excellent grain quality of Mascani should ensure its popularity with the millers.

TARDIS

New Variety on the HGCA Recommended List, Tardis Winter Oats combine impressive yield performance with short, stiff straw, excellent disease resistance and early maturity.
