Spring Wheat

AMARETTO

amaretto

AMARETTO has developed over recent years as a higher yeidling alternative to Paragon. Finding favor with the UK miller AMARETTO receives the breadmaking premiums as those offered for Paragon but offers an untreated yield advantage of +10% – 14%.

AMARETTO has good all round disease resistance and stiff straw which is up to 2 inches taller than Paragon. AMARETTO performs very well when sown in the late autumn, but better than most other varieties when sown in the spring.

Can be sown late spring and still deliver acceptable yields. An extremely adaptable variety shown by its Listing in a number of countries throughout Northern Europe
