SOMTRI SPRING TRITICALE
SOMTRI Spring triticale, has long straw but excellent resistance to lodging. Because of its enormous root development, SOMTRI may tap nutrients and water also from deeper soil layers, making it a very tolerant variety to stressful situations.

SOMTRI triticale has low susceptability to fusarium and ergot giving a productions of healthy and unpolluted fodder. SOMTRI triticale produces high grain yields, higher than current leading varieties such as Logo, Nilex and Legalo. In TAG Trials, SOMTRI outperformed Nilex by +23%.

The seed production of SOMTRI triticale is in its early stages with an approximate availability of 100-150 tonnes of Organic C2 Seed available for 2010
