An introduction to our new Farm Trader, Louise

I recently joined Cope Seeds and Grain as a Farm Trader. My previous experience lies in precision farming where I have worked with farmers on a wide range of agricultural practices including drilling and hardware support. I gained a BSc (Hons) Agri Business degree at Harper Adams in Shropshire, where I studied for four years and included a placement year with Frontier Agriculture.

Working with both organic and conventional farming businesses has considerably increased my knowledge of the agricultural industry.

I was born and raised in North Yorkshire, where my family run a timber merchant business. A large part of my life is devoted to my loveable (and very greedy) black Labrador, Rupert and we spend much of our time on long walks and runs around the countryside together.

I also enjoy swimming and I love to explore the UK and overseas with my boyfriend Freddie (when I can get him away from the farm).

I am extremely excited about my career prospects with Cope Seeds and Grain and love being a member of such a friendly team.
